Very nicely done 8 inch ceramic figurine of a woman depicting the days when women
carried muffs to keep their hands warm. She has a green hat and coat, a pink scarf and dress, her hair is yellow and the muff is grey. She is very life-like with detailed chisled features, sculpted hair and clothes, and is done in a painting method called a wash with a matte finish which gives her clothes a very life-like shading. There is a maker's mark on the bottom done in pin pricks. It looks like a butterfly or a bird; but I can't be sure of this. The figurine is in very good condition. She has a small chip in one of the folds of her coat; but this is not a glaring flaw. See detailed pictures. This item ships separately to prevent breakage.
