Vintage necklace of plastic imitation pearls with imitation cloisonne beads interspersed with goldtone metal and wood discs. It comes in a nice wooden box, felted on the inside. It has a spring ring clasp and was made in Japan. This necklace is 29 1/2".
The plastic pearls have a beautiful yellow patina due to age. This only adds to the beauty of the piece. The imitation cloisonne beads are wood or perhaps plastic with decoupage decoration and painted golden accents to mimic cloisonne cells. It is strung on a doubled white beading string which has greyed with age; but isn't very visible and does not detract from the beauty of the necklace.
