BUYING 

Most of the items at Antiques and Treasures Untold are antiques or vintage collectibles.  As such, they are in used condition and will have some wear.  I strive to mention any major damage and take detailed pictures to show both the beauty and major flaws of each item we sell.  If you have any questions, about a particular item, please feel free to email me at antiquesandtreasuresuntold@gmail.com .

I also sell new and handmade items, especially handmade and original design jewelry made by Kathy Thomas, (that's me!) as well as some jewelry made by Kathy from kits and instructions in magazines and books.

Handmade items made by other craft people and jewelry designers will also be offered on the site.  See our consignment policy below for more details.

SHIPPING

All items ship either Priority or Priority Flat Rate and insured. Fragile items will be shipped separately to prevent breakage.  Customers will pay additional postage for this; but this is better than receiving a broken, irreplaceable item.  I will combine items where possible.  I will do my best to keep postage rates low; but items will be packed and shipped securely.  Refunds will be given if postage is overpaid.

There is a small handling charge of  $2.50 for each shipment.

Tiffany Style Items

All Tiffany Style Stained Glass items ship free with no handling charge.  Will ship by FedEx.  Street address only, will not ship to post office box.  Shipping included in the price.  Continental USA ONLY!! ALL OTHER ORDERS MUST PAY SHIPPING SEPARATELY. 

RETURNS All damages/shortages-must contact me within 7 days after receipt of merchandise. Items damaged due to customer abuse or neglect will not be considered for credit or replacement.  Digital photo required of damaged items. Original packaging required for all returns.  Buyer pays return shipping.  Shipment refused or returned is subject to 25% restocking fee plus freights. All returns require prior approval from Kathy Thomas at Antiques and Treasures Untold.

RETURNS

All antiques, vintage, and collectible items are sold AS IS and are nonreturnable unless stated as being "new and unused".  Any major flaws are noted in the description and in the pictures.

Handmade and gift items are returnable in original unused condition at the customer's expense.  Customer will receive a refund of the purchase price minus shipping and handling charges.

 CONSIGNMENTS

Consignments of antiques and collectibles, as well as new, handmade items are accepted from people living in the Gaston County area.  Both parties will sign a consignment agreement.  All items must be brought to me at my home address and left with me for the duration of the consignment agreement.  Antiques and Treasures Untold will pay 60% of the sale price of the item to the owner of the item.  40% of the sale price will be retained by Antiques and Treasures Untold.  Consignment agreements are for 90 days.  If at the end of the 90 day period the item has not sold, the owner will be contacted for permission to reduce the price of the item.  If permission is granted, the item will then remain on the website for an additional 60 days or until sold. If at the end of the 60 day period the item still has not sold, owner will be contacted to come pick up the item.  If the owner chooses not to reduce the price, or the item does not sell within the 60 day period, the owner must pick up the item within 30 days or the item becomes property of Antiques and Treasures Untold to be disposed of either in a sale on or off the website or donated to a charitable organization.
