A fantastic Elvis art book by Betty Harper, artist and poet. Trade paperback SUDDENLY AND GENTLY VISIONS OF ELVIS THROUGH THE ART OF BETTY HARPER
copyright 1987 by Betty Harper with a forward by Bill Burke published by St. Martins Press 1st edition, contains sketches and poetry of Elvis througout his career. Although Ms. Burke never met Elvis in person, she manages to capture the essence of Elvis in all stages of his career. The book is in poor condition with bumped corners and the bottom edge of the front cover shows shelf wear. The spine is broken in the center of the book; and the glue has gone bad in the binding. Individual pages are intact and in fine condition. The book could easily be rebound by a professional book binder, or the individual pages could be framed. Still an interesting book for any Elvis fan, and a must have for any collector of Elvis memorabailia.
