Description

Gold tone flower brooch or pin with green and clear chaton rhinestones or brilliants, unsigned.  Chatons are foil backed pointed back rhinestones.  The pierced metal backing has been oxidized or antiqued.  I'm not sure what metal it is; but to me it looks like brass or bronze.   The stones appear to be prong set; but this is an illusion as the "prongs" are actually pins set beside the settings.  The "prong" does not touch the top of the stone in any way.  You can see this better in the center of the brooch where there are clusters of three pins between the lime green stones.  It appears the chatons have individual settings and are glued into the settings.

There are two colors of green in the brooch, lime and peridot.  The clear rhinestones are in the center of the flower surrounding one circle of lime green.  The petals each have two peridot rhinestones on the outside of the petal with a cluster of three lime rhinestones in between.  All rhinestones are bright.  No dead stones. No missing stones.  The brooch measures 2 7/8" in diameter and is quite hefty.  Probably meant  to be worn on a jacket or a coat.
